Installing D-Lamp LEDs

Abingdon Spares is now stocking LED light boards for the MG TC D-lamp. These LED Light Boards are much, much brighter than the original incandescent bulbs, even in daylight, and have an added benefit of drawing virtually no current, reducing the load on the generator. The new LED boards for the classic Lucas ST51 "D-lamp" require a slight modification to the lamp in order to install the LED boards. Here are a few photos to let you see what needs to be done.
