Our History
Abingdon Spares, the World’s Largest MG TC-TD-TF Parts Specialist, was formed by Jerry Goguen in 1968 in Needham, MA. Jerry was a sports car enthusiast, who also founded and directed The Westminster MG Car Museum in Westminster, VT.
After the company moved to Walpole, NH, Bob Seymour purchased the company from Jerry in about 1995.
Abingdon Spares relocated to Deep River, Connecticut in 2015, with new owners Martin and Ed Cooke.
In 2023 the business was purchased by Jason Olmsted, and was relocated to Gorham Maine.
Long known as one of the foremost supplier of NOS, and quality reproduction MG T-series parts, Abingdon Spares, is now situated on Main Street, in Gorham.
Their reputation of providing great customer service and a complete inventory of T-series parts has also followed the company to Maine. Abingdon Spares has recently added MGB to its line of parts, stocking MGB Engine Components, Fuel System Parts, Radiators and Radiator Hoses, Brake Parts, Ignition and Tune-Up parts, and many other MBG parts and accessories.
