Summer Cars & Coffee draws a crowd!

The hot weather did not deter the British (and other) car folks from stopping by this past Saturday for Abingdon Spares Summer Cars & Coffee! We have the best customers, they stop down on cold days and on hot days, it is nice to see such support for our efforts. Unlike our spring event, this day was a HOT one. But the weather was fine for cars and conversation, and a large crowd of over 50 cars came by through out the morning. We had all the MG types, TC, TD and TF,  several MGAs, a large group of MGBs, Midgets and a Magnette. Also in the mix were a big Healey and a few Sprites, Jaguar, Lotus, TRs, VWs, Volvos and Alfa Romeo! We even had a '40 Ford hot rod join the group. There might have been a few others I missed. The hot weather made no difference, as old friends caught up on things and new friends were made. It is always a good day to get the car out for a ride and to check out what everyone is driving or working on. We will have another one in the fall, and maybe we can get a temperature somewhere between the spring and summer ones! Here are a few photos of the day.
