Abingdon Spares is moving to Maine!
There comes a time… It has been our pleasure to serve our wonderful customers here at Abingdon Spares these past eight years. We have met so many interesting, knowledgeable, friendly, and truly thoughtful customers. Many of them have become our friends over the years. Our customers’ loyalty to our small business has been truly a very rewarding experience for us. We are forever grateful for the relationships we have formed here, with those who support not only our business, but who attend the many casual events we host here. We will certainly miss the interactions with our customers, both in person and on the phone. Customers are truly what makes this business so enjoyable.
Abingdon Spares will be moving to Maine! Abingdon Spares will have new owners and will be moving its location up to Gorham, Maine. In order to accomplish this Abingdon Spares will close its Deep River, CT location on Wednesday, July 26, to begin moving the inventory up to Maine. Phone and on-line orders will be suspended until the reopening on August 7th. The phone numbers and website will all be the same, nothing is changing. All orders will be shipped as always.
Abingdon Spares will continue to offer the same great products, same great prices, same great service, and same fast shipping! They will only be as far away as your mailbox! The new owners are true British Car people and excited to begin their new adventure with Abingdon Spares’ great customers! Ed will be staying on to help with the transition and provide continuity for a while, working remotely from Deep River.
We are very pleased that the Abingdon Spares business and its reputation will continue under the careful management of the new owners. Abingdon Spares has been a supporter of not only MGs, but the British Car hobby for many decades, and will continue to be in the future.
Again, from all of us here at Abingdon Spares, Ed, Martin and Matt, it has been our privilege to work with our customers, and more importantly to get to know them and their MGs! We hope you will continue your support of Abingdon Spares in their new location, and get to know the new owners. I know they will be looking forward to working with our customers in the years ahead.
