42nd Annual Triumph Gathering

Abingdon Spares was at the annual British Motorcar Gathering and Picnic this year. This is a great low key event sponsored by the Connecticut Triumph Register that draws lots of different marques to Wickham Park in Manchester, CT. Triumphs were well represented at the show of course, with examples from TR8 all the way back to an early 30's Super Nine! MGs were out in force too with T-Types, MGAs, MGBs, Midgets and a Magnette too! Various other marques filled the field, including Lotus, Jaguar, Healeys and a Mini. It is a great get together with refreshments provide by the local Boy Scout troupe. Hats off to the CTR for another sucessful gathering. Here are some photos of the day.
