Hershey Annual AACA Fall Meet!

Abingdon Spares was setup at the annual AACA Fall Meet in Hershey, PA last week. We saw a lot of our customers and hopefully made some new ones! This is one of the largest antique auto flea market and car shows on the east coast. Over 9000 vendors displaying everything automotive, from the 1890s up to the late 1980s. If you walk every aisle, it is over 30 miles of looking, stopping, searching, finding and haggling, but you can find so much interesting stuff there that it is worth the time to look. Hershey is heavy on American Iron, the usual  Model T's, Model A's, but certainly Chevy, Dodge, Chrysler, Pontiac, Buick, Ford,Lincoln, Maxwell, Oakland, DeSoto, and many of the more obscure pre and post war American cars can be found among the miles of rusty bits! It is a fantastic place to walk around, searching and just talking to all the other car people there! You will see cars and parts and miscellaneous "automobilia" here that you will probably never see anywhere else. Old and new tools, license plates, lamps, bumpers, seats, engines, if it has to do with cars and car repairs, you will find it here! Another benefit to being at Hershey is all the classic cars you see around town, every hotel and restaurant parking lot is a mini car show in itself!
