April MG of the Month

1980 MGB LE of John Pandiscia, of Wolcott, CT

In John's words:

Sending you a photo of my 1980 MGB LE. I bought it almost ten years ago off Craig's List. The previous owner had painted it and put a new top on it and then passed away. I bought it from his family and continued the restoration. It has been a very enjoyable hobby. I came close to buying a new one in 1980. I was 18 years old and working as an apprentice plumber and could afford the car but not the insurance. In 2012 my wife asked me what I wanted for my 50th birthday and I said that I never got that MG that I always wanted. She told me to find one.
