Abingdon Spares at the Vintage Races!

Abingdon Spares was at the Lime Rock Park Historic Festival 36 over the Labor Day Weekend. Always a wonderful holiday weekend filled with the sights and sounds of vintage sports and racing cars. Lime Rock is truly an outstanding venue for vintage racing, and the fantastic Concours and Gathering of the Marques on Sunday! This year featured what has to be one of the largest gatherings of Bugatti automobiles ever seen recently, both touring cars and race cars, quite a site. We were able to see many of our customers and make several new ones we hope! Great weather, great cars and most important the great 'car people' in attendance make for a most memorable weekend. Here are lots of photos of the MG contingent and the fabulous Bugattis. The first few photos are of the street fair in Falls Village, CT the Thursday night before the weekend, approximately 100 sports and racing cars made the run from Lime Rock to Falls Village, quite a ride for both the drivers and the dozens of local folks who watch and wave along the route!
